Welcome

The Ellen's Creek Watershed Group is a non- profit organization, made up of citizens within the watershed area who are concerned about the gradual degredation of the watershed within our community. We would like to see the watershed restored and maintained, so that future generations can enjoy the beauty, fauna and flora of this natural Island landscape. What is our Purpose?  • To inform the public around the issues of the importance of watersheds and the need to maintain them. • To advocate for regulations that will protect the watershed. • To restore the Ellen's Creek watershed to its original beauty. Who can be part of the watershed group? All residents within the watershed area (see maps) are welcome to attend the meetings, provide input, participate in activities and help to achieve our goals. Guests from outside the watershed area are also invited to join us in our meetings and activities.  Meetings are held about every 6 weeks at the West Royalty Community Centre, at 7:00 p.m. The dates of our upcoming meeting can be viewed on our ‘Meetings’ page.
