About us
Ellen’s Creek Watershed Group (ECWG) is a non-profit, community-based conservation organization.
We’re committed to the stewardship and conservation of the Ellen’s Creek Watershed which includes several neighbourhoods within Charlottetown, including West Royalty, Sherwood, Parkdale, and parts of Winsloe and Hillsborough Park. Click here to see our exact boundaries.
As a community-based conservation group, ECWG is driven by a volunteer Board of Directors and passionate community members who share a common goal: to protect and enhance the health of our watershed.
Our mission is to educate the public about the importance of watershed protection, advocate for regulations that safeguard our waterways, and work toward the preservation, protection, and restoration of our urban springs, streams, wetlands, estuaries, and other natural habitats.
